[ABOUT KOREAN CLUB]
Korean club tries to help its fellow Koreans and people of all ethnicities on Troy’s campus (re)connect with the traditional as well as modern aspects of Korea. Often, we hold socials where we sell traditional Korean dishes to our fellow Troy students, in order to expose them to the exquisite taste of Korean food. In order to learn more and enjoy Korean entertainment, we often show movies and dramas (with English subtitles for our non-Korean speakers) that are sometimes hilarious, sometimes heart-wrenching, or simply enjoyable and fun.

This year, we plan to be more active in our community by helping out our fellow Koreans in the area in the local Korean festivals and events as well as helping out organizations that are by Koreans. We also plan to sell tickets this year to the upcoming Korean concert @ the Hollywood Bowl as well as hopefully other tickets of future k-pop concerts to come.

During International Week, some of our talented members are going to be performing Taekwondo, a popular Korean martial art found even here in the USA. Not only that, but we're also going to sell Korean food that entire week for you to enjoy. So when the time comes, stop by our table to try out some delectable Korean dishes. You won't be disappointed. (;

The money we earn from this club is mainly used to help support this club; however, the remaining money that we have at the end of year always will go to a charitable organization that helps Korean in need who live in California, throughout the nation, or even in Korea. So in the end, all of our efforts go to helping not only our fellow Troy classmates, but also the outside community.

We meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month in Room 303 @ Lunch, so please come by and enjoy the fun! You'll get to meet great and friendly people, so becoming an active member in our club will be an awesome experience. :D
